meDecide collects nothing.

Not "nothing important", and not "nothing we sell". The app makes no network requests at all, so there is no mechanism by which anything could reach us even if we wanted it.

What we collect

Nothing. meDecide has no account, no sign-up, no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising. It contains no code that sends data anywhere, and there is no server behind it to receive any.

What the app stores on your device

Everything below stays on your phone and is deleted when you uninstall the app:

the selections you create and the names you give them
which blocks are running and when they expire
your schedules, if you set any
your widget appearance preference

None of it is transmitted, backed up to us, or shared with anyone.

What the app can see, and what it cannot

On iPhone

meDecide uses Apple's Screen Time system to block apps. When you choose apps, Apple's picker hands the app anonymous references rather than names or identifiers — so meDecide enforces your decision without ever learning which apps you picked. That is a guarantee Apple enforces in the operating system, not a promise we are asking you to take on trust.

On Android

Two optional permissions, both off until you turn them on, and both revocable at any time in Settings:

Notification access lets the app dismiss notifications from apps you are blocking. It reads which app posted a notification in order to remove it. The contents of your notifications are never read, stored or sent.
Accessibility service lets the app close a blocked app if you open it. It reads only which app came to the foreground. It cannot read what is on your screen — it does not request the permission that would allow that, so the capability is absent rather than merely unused.

Notifications

meDecide can show a countdown while a block is running, and can tell you when one ends or a scheduled window begins. These are created on your device by the app itself. There is no push service and no token, so nothing about them involves a network.

Purchases

meDecide is a paid app. Your payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies — we never see your payment details, your name or your email address, and we receive no information that identifies you.

Children

meDecide is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, of any age.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the date above changes with it. Since the app collects nothing, any change would have to be a change to the app itself — and that would be described in the release notes too.
